Yankees give pair of intriguing prospects minor league invites to spring trainin

The Yankees camp that opens Tuesday, when pitchers and catchers report, has grown a bit larger. The Yankees announced Sunday that they invited catcher Ronaldo Hernndez and lefty Jayvien Sandridge to major league spring training, bringing the attendance to 69. Hernndez is a 27-year-old who has spent nine seasons in the minors and still is looking for his MLB debut.
