U4GM Why Belial Palace of the Deceiver Is Worth Farming
The Palace of the Deceiver doesn't show up when you're still messing around in early Sanctuary. You've got to earn it. Head into Kehjistan's Amber Sands on Torment (World Tier 4), then look west of the Tarsarak Waypoint and you'll spot the entrance once the map actually allows it. Before you go, take five minutes to sort your stash and upgrades—your build will feel a lot better when you're not limping in under-geared, and having the right Diablo 4 Items ready can save you a frustrating run back out to town.
Getting In and Getting Set
Once the waypoint's unlocked, the whole place becomes a quick loop: port in, clear the corridors, and push straight for the altar. It's not a sightseeing dungeon. Belial's Fight Feels Like a Trick

You'll learn quickly that standing still is a choice you only make once. Watch for the big tells, sidestep early, and keep a panic button for the late phases when things get messy. Poison Resistance helps a ton, sure, but sustain matters just as much—if your healing plan is "hope the potion's enough," you're probably going to get folded.
Loot Targeting and the Husk Loop
The best part is the reward chest after the kill. Instead of praying for one specific drop, you can steer the loot pool toward the boss rewards you actually want, which makes farming Uniques and Mythics feel less like a slot machine. The catch is the currency: Betrayer's Husks. You pick those up from Belial Ambush encounters while you're out fighting other lair bosses, so the game nudges you into a cycle—farm the world, get husks, come back, cash in, repeat. It's a smarter grind, and you'll feel the difference in a long session.
Solo Speed Runs and Keeping Materials Flowing
A lot of players end up running the Palace solo for one simple reason: it's faster and calmer. No waiting, no arguing about who burned what cooldown, just burst him down and move on. It's also a steady way to stack Forgotten Souls, Veiled Crystals, and roll the dice on Ancestral upgrades, as long as you keep up with Helltides and Whisper Caches to refill materials.
